And in other cases, as a result of a lack of continuity in advice, some people do nothing at all, which may be just as bad.Disaster preparedness is really about risk analysis; what good is a box of guns and ammo when you actually needed a boat during a flood, because you lived in a flood-prone area? Or what good is gallon jar of peanut butter when you bought only one slice of bread? How is a bug out location going to help you when you lose your job and can’t pay the bills? Too many people today have just that problem; too much of the wrong thing and not enough to the right thing.
