Back To The Basement

In this episode I got to talk to Tim Elms! He's a big figure in the Tony Hancock Appreciation Society and host of 'Very Nearly an Armful - A Tony Hancock Podcast' where he and other members of the society talk about the late, great Tony Hancock. This was a nice talk and I'm glad to have learnt some new things about one of my favourite British stars. Enjoy.

In this episode I get to talk to Billy Putz from ... The Putz! This was a great one and I'm so thankful we finally got to figure out a time to do it. Billy talked about all the records with some great stories from over the years and if that's not all he new album with Covert Flops has just come out, too. So there's lots of music and talk for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!

In this episode I get to speak to Steve Legend! I first met Steve when I saw the Griswalds play in London about 14 years ago! It's nice to see him around at gigs whenever I'm home but it was even nicer having this time with him to talk about music and how The Griswalds got together and hearing about the music and adventures he's been on. Go check out his music!

In this episode I get to speak to Matti, the drummer from one of Italy's finest! Proton Packs. We've been trying to get this one recorded for a little while and it was nice to finally catch him to talk about everything from Italy, travelling, punk rock  and of course Proton Packs. Enjoy.

In this episode I got to have another chat with my mate Rich. In this one we mainly focused on music (between the laughs) and talked about some deep album cuts which may or may not tickle your fancy. Oh, and our favourite TV shows, too. It's always a pleasure to chat to Rich and I'm looking forward to the next time we get to hang out.

In this episode things get changed up a bit. It's just me talking about The Beatersband from Italy. I know they wanted to record an episode but felt a little apprehensive that their English ability wasn't good enough to be on an English speaking podcast, but I managed to send them seem questions and they sent back a reply which I read out and add my own thoughts and ramblings to pad out the episode a little. They are a great 50/60s inspired punk band with the obvious Ramones influence. I hope you like this special episode. Enjoy.

In this episode I got to speak to Louis, guitarist and singer in the amazing band Heavy Heart who hail all the way from France. I first heard of them from a post by Scott of Brassneck Records and was blown away by them. I've been a huge fan for a little while now and it was with great pleasure I got to speak to Louis about the past releases and the release of their new record 'Closer'. Enjoy

In this episode I got to speak to YouTuber, Prozzie. We've never actually met but I've seen his videos and he was kind enough to come on for a chat. W got to speak about where we grew up, teaching, China and Taiwan and a lot of other things in between. Hopefully we'll be able to arrange a 3 way podcast episode with Prozzie, Allan Cooke and myself one day! Check out the links below to his videos! Enjoy.

In this episode I spoke to my mate Lewis Williamson .. again. For the first time we got to do a part 2. This time we touched on a few different topics than the first one so don't think it's more of the same. Well, it is and it isn't. It was nice to catch up with him since the last one and see what's going on. If you liked the first one, I'm sure you'll like the second. Enjoy.

In this episode I got to literally hang out with my friend Brandon at his home in Taichung and the brews and whisky flowed. We've been mates for a good few years and punk rockers at heart with a love for the same bands! We've had some great times together and shared some laughs every time we meet, just as we did in this interview. If there is anyone who wears their heart on their sleeve, it's Brandon. I hope you enjoy this talk as much as we enjoyed recording it!
