Back To The Basement

In this episode I got to talk to a friend of mine I first met in Hsinchu 12 years  ago. He's gone on to do a lot of things with his life and is constantly making a difference in a lot of people's lives. Much love and respect to him!  Enjoy!

In this episode I sit down with another Ape and we find out ... he can talk!! Greg is based in Kaoshuing and is known island wide for the bands he's been in and music he plays. I'm glad we got to have this chat as we've known each other a good number of years and I've always hoped we get to talk more. Enjoy.    https://www.instagram.com/backtothebasementtw/ https://mikeyjamesvinylrecords.wordpress.com/

In this episode I sit down with a friend I met many years ago when I first moved to Taiwan. We formed a band together called Gan Bei and he was  the drummer and MC. He's an artist and an all round lovely guy. It's been great to reconnect with him. Enjoy. https://www.instagram.com/backtothebasementtw/ https://mikeyjamesvinylrecords.wordpress.com/

This week I got to chat to one of my best friends. We've known each other since Year 7 and have always managed to stay in touch with each other over the years. Barney is a multi-instrumentalist who can turn his hand to any instrument and churn out a hit song with ease. I'm really pleased to hear he's doing well and still being creative throughout COVID. If you make it half way through the show, you'll get to hear his first single so why not stick around, aye?! You can find him here!  https://facebook.com/barneybarnettmusic

This week I sit down with a friend of mine from Taiwan, Imran Durrani the front man from Ape Apocalypse. We've bumped into each other many times over the years at gigs but this is the first time we've had a longer conversation. It was great and I can't wait for us to play a show together again soon.    https://www.instagram.com/backtothebasementtw/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPXdBWqfY5LoFJzKGOzrv4w https://mikeyjamesvinylrecords.wordpress.com/

Here is the first episode in the 'Getting To Know ... ' series. I sit down with my very  good friend, Stu Gaston for a few beers and a catch up. I hope you enjoy the chat we had.    https://www.instagram.com/backtothebasementtw/ https://mikeyjamesvinylrecords.wordpress.com/
