Back to Love (Cream Classics Revisited 2026)(90's House Anthems Reworked) - mixed by Mark Anthony (November 2025)

Do you remember 'Cream' at Nation in Liverpool during the 90's? It was one of the UK's biggest clubs and a definite favourite on a Saturday night with the original residents of Andy Carrol & Paul Bleasdale alongside Paul Oakenfold, Nick Warren, Graeme Park, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Pete Tong etc...

Recently I've been listening to the early original compilation albums 'Cream Live' & 'Cream Anthems' (released in 1995 & 1996) and I noticed how many of the tracks featured have recently been reworked for todays dance floors, so I decided to put them all together in a mix.

I've tried to use the mixes that sound nearest to the original versions but with a bit of a 2020's update. Mixed live (not by computer) so not perfect but I'd love to know your thought so please leave a comment if your feeling it.

Hope you like it!

Life Is A Dancefloor 'Saturday Night' - mixed by Mark Anthony (April 2022)

First upload of 2022 and continuing the 'Life is A Dancefloor' series with the 'Saturday Night' mix. Full on vocals all the way!

I never mean't for this mix to be public, it was just something I mixed for myself to listen to in the car on the way to gigs... However a few people have heard it and requested a copy so I decided to share it! It's basically a collection of what I think are future classics, loads of vocals to singalong too, re-worked classics and disco'esque jams for the 'Glitterbox' generation....

7. Spiller - Groovejet (If this Ain't Love)(Purple Disco Machine & Lorenz Rhode Extended Remix)

8. Robin S - Show Me Love (Emmaculate Remix)

9. Blaze &UDAUFL ft. Barbara Tucker - Most Precious Love (Michael Gray Remix)

10. Dimitri from Paris & Fiorious - Music Saved My Life (The Full Take)

11. The Vision ft. Andreya Triana - Mountains (Joey Negro Live And Direct Extended Mix)

Sandy B - Make the World Go Round (Ryan Blythe Remix)(Mark Anthony Rework)

Originally released in 1996 and remixed by the mighty Deep Dish, Champion Records released 2 new remixes in 2020 mixed by Ryan Blythe. There was a club mix and a full vocal version.

Neither version really did it for me. Both mixes were really short and not really long enough for club play. The club mix had a better intro and outro but didn't have the fantastic full vocal. Whereas the vocal mix didn't have much of an intro or outro to it at all! So the obvious thing to do was to combine the 2. I've not added anything, just reworked the 2 mixes and made them into a more accessible version....

Let me know what you think!
