The modern church has made forsaking the house of God a private right and called it faith — a Christian in the heart, a sermon on a screen, a holy day spent anywhere but the congregation of the saints. But drawing back is no hanging place where a man stays safe; it is the road unto perdition, and the soul that walks it stands in no pleasure before God.
