This week we will be covering the topic of body image, as well as our own experiences with body image issues and how these also affect dancers and other individuals in the sports industry.
We answer and discuss three body image related questions as honestly and as openly as we possibly can, and talk about how we’re feeling about our own body image now that lockdown restrictions are being lifted and the summer months are hitting in the UK.
If you feel you are struggling with any of the symptoms surrounding body image or body dysmorphia, please contact a healthcare professional. A link to the NHS psychological therapy services and the young minds charity for mental health will be linked in our show notes.
