I HATED IT! 5 STARS! It’s the first week of Hideaki Anno month and we’re of course kicking it off with Neon Genesis Evangelion. We’ll discuss everything Evangelion from a first time watch perspective and a rewatch perspective, and decide if this old school masterwork holds up today. Now SING: Shinji’s Mom has got it going on, she’s all Gendo wants and he’s waited for so long. Shinji can’t you see you’re just not the pilot for me, I know it might be wrong but I’m in love with Shinji’s Mom.

It's a spoof on ye ol Power Rangers and it came out in the Spring anime season of 2022! Yes we're talking about Love After World Domination. The main story here is basically: what if the red ranger wanted boink the main villain? Of course, hilarity ensues, but is it watchable? The tapes for 1987's low budget OVA Hana No Asuaka Gumi were notably lost for years until they resurfaced in 2020 (prolly a pandemic find). This OVA turned Live Action movie turned OVA again follows the girl gangs of Tokyo for various mischief like uh idk not wearing panties (not even a joke). Now that the original OVA has been recovered we can finally watch it and ask ourselves...was it really worth digging back up? Or should we bury that shit again.

NEW SHOW ALERT! From our Summer 2022 episode we pulled out another 3 episode rule from the new anime Lucifer & The Biscuit Hammer! This show is just as dumb as it sounds, and is about a giant hammer smashing the world... but until it's just about depression. That's right. But was this off the wall concept enough to keep up invested? Uh....idk maybe. As with the usual 3 Episode Rule format, we'll watch the first 3 eps and say if we're into this anime for the long haul, or out of the running.

In 1984 Hirohiko Araki (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure) created the manga series known as Baoh The Visitor, which got an OVA in 1989! And THATS what we're talking about today. It's about a disease that turns you blue but also gives you basically any broken OP power you want, so basically you're blue Goku. But was the OVA good or was it shit? Let's find out together!

Everyone says this show absolutely sucks, so of course we decided to watch it. This Crunchyroll original anime has a staggering 1.5/5 rating on My Anime List and stars Akira, who is reincarnated as a brain in a robot for a 12 episode PS2 cut scene with a weird ending. But is it actually as bad as everyone thinks? All we know is that Alma can get it.
