Sorry Tom - move aside. My deep connection with animals started as a child. I grew up with a menagerie of pets. Wild and domestic. From my pet pug Spunky to garden snakes, my parents even got me flock of homing pigeons. The fascination with animals and their unique personalities and behaviors might explain why I always have one around me, or am studying them from afar. There are many reasons for why we’re hard wired to love our pets but I like to think it’s simply because they love us back.

On Episode 3 of Bad Beaver Podcast you’ll hear a few tales about being a brave badass...wait. WHAT?! Hmm... My producer wrote that.

Growing up in the 60’s, I was intent on experimentation and self discover - despite ramifications, liberation was our mantra. Today I am 70 and my daily mantra as a flower child has mysteriously accelerated into a more sophisticated understanding of the natural world. What I’ve found is that no matter how old you are, simply being open to the gifts of nature can expand your life.

Episode 2 are a few tales about coming out of darkness by choosing to jump head first into the light. These are my origin stories with Tom that prove how love and nature can lead you out of anguish and heal a broken heart.

This first episode is about how devastating life got for me in my grieving time...But! Grief is a trickster and a teacher...it can twist and turn and ultimately show you the joy and beauty of being alive---the wondrous gift of coming out the other side---forever changed. I promise you--after this Episode--this podcast will be a piece of cake with a bit more levity for frosting.
