The 155th Saanich Fair returns to the Saanich Fairgrounds September 2 – 4, 2023!  

The theme of this years Fair is “Jammin’ at the Fair” and the feature is preserved foods.

The More You Novak Trivia Night I at Herald Street Brew Works.

Saturday

Victoria Grizzlies Charity Ball Hockey Event 

Happening at the Juan de Fuca Rec Centre. In support of Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island. The tournament will be from 9am to 7:30 pm in the lacrosse box behind the Q Centre. There will be food, a kids inflatable obstacle course and more. 

Butchart Gardens 

Butchart Garden’s fireworks are cancelled for this weekend, but you can still go to the gardens until 11pm and enjoy the musical performances

We also judged Martha Stewart's cocktail etiquette very hard and we had some very import news about the Clipper in the TL;DR. This is a must listen if you're heading to Seattle for the long weekend.

Johnny got to chat with Jerusha Smith of Sidney who is a big support of Tour de Rock. Jerusha lost her sister Ruth to cancer and is now teaming up with TDR to help us eliminate cancer. 

Jerusha is collecting donations at the Thrifty Foods in Saanichton, Buddies Toys in Sidney, Scotty's Dog Shack in Sidney and at Saanich Peninsula Presbyterian Church
