今回のCulture Talkでは日本で嫌われる日焼け文化について海外との違いを話します。また、日本ではなぜ色白が美しいとされるかについての歴史や、色白に対する海外の反応について話します。English Upgradeでは英語では日焼けの表現が２つあります。「赤くなる日焼け:sun burn 」と「黒くなる日焼け:sun tan」の２つの違いについて説明します！

今回のCulture Talkでは私たちの視点からアメリカで起こっている人種差別に対するプロテストについて、また日本やカナダではどういう反応があるのかについて話します。English Upgradeでは苦手な人も多い関係代名詞を使った表現です。使えるとどんどん話が広がり話し上手になるのでぜひ習得しましょう！今回はwhoを使って友達のことを説明してみる練習をします。

In this episode we go over what's been happening in America and around the word recently (protests against racism) and talk about how Canadians and Japanese people are reacting to the situation. Also, we teach English learners about how to talk about their friends using relative clauses!

今回のCulture Talkでは日本と海外の家の違いや、過ごし方の違いについて話します。English UpgradeではThere is/ There areを使った、周りにあるものを説明する表現について話します。

In this episode, we discuss the differences between life in Japanese homes vs. life in Canadian homes from the perspectives of our childhood experiences. For our English Upgrade, we go over using "there is" and "there are" in English, and explain why this grammar can be tricky for Japanese speakers.
