Baka! Baka! Baka! An Anime Podcast!

It’s a new year and that means Troy is picking another movie for the Baka Club to watch. It’s sure to be a sappy emotion driven . . . . wait. He picked a post-apocylptic sci-fi with killer robots, giant lasers and a mostly silent protagonist? Someone check on Troy, he must be ill. https://archive.org/download/BBB61Blame/Baka%20Baka%20Baka%20-%20Episode%2061%20-%20Blame.mp3 […]

One of the biggest anime we’ve reviewed lately was the fantasy isekai Overlord. The response we received to it was overwhelming and the comments made the show even better. So we couldn’t stop ourselves from watching another season. In this minisode, the Baka Club reviews the third season and discuss just what makes a protagonist […]

Love is a wondrous thing. It makes us cry. It makes us laugh. It makes us put holes in our ear lobes. But can 3 grown anime nerds fathom it’s true complexities? Will a romantic comedy show us the truth within our own hearts? Will Jeremy even remember the anime we watched? Probably not but […]

On this podcast we’ve watched a lot of anime that deal with a character being wisked away to a strange land. It’s so popular in the medium these days that you see it even more than giant robots. Sometimes you see it WITH giant robots. And we’re not complaining for the most part. But we […]

We pride ourselves at Baka Baka Baka at being idiots with very distinct tastes. So when our latest anime made each one of us uncomfortable in ways we haven’t felt since we first changed with others in a school locker room, we knew we had a lot to talk about. From bouncy elf girls to […]

We talk about anime a lot. But sometimes . . . we don’t! As avid gamers, we decide it is our civic duty to share our opinions on the latest controversy striking the video game community. Diablo! On your phone! (Play some dramatic music here for effect.) Listen in as we debate, respectfully, on the […]
