Baka! Baka! Baka! An Anime Podcast!

I can’t even with the rock puns anymore. Plus, as Jeremy would point out . . . again, this anime is about GEMS [Note from Jeremy – crystals actually, but gems is fine.]. Not those gems. These are different gems. We watched Land of the Lustrous, a beautiful CGI anime with a story so unique, […]

You know that call for questions that went out a few weeks back? No? You forgot we mentioned that? That’s OK! You probably already know more about us than you ever wanted to. But if there’s one thing Bakas never tire of, it’s jabbering to each other about their opinions. If that’s your kind of […]

We found an anime that rocks! It’s about rocks and those that rock the rocks. But does this anime really rock our socks off? It’s difficult to tell because you can’t tell if we’re wearing socks on a podcast. We do know that Troy is miserable this week (and a little quiet) but he’s probably […]

There isn’t a whole lot going on in the Baka’s lives these days. Most of them have been killing time and playing survival games. Stuff like Subnautica, 7 Days to Live, etc. You know. That stuff you skip past or hum through in the podcast while waiting for the anime talk to start. Well, with […]

And we’re finally back to finish the fight with Fate/Apocrypha. Has the Fate series delivered another masterpiece or a sizzling pile of Thracian gladiator? Who will win the fight for the greater holy grail and have their wish granted? Will Troy even be able to remember who all of these characters are? Listen in as […]

Don’t say we never give you anything. We’re continuing our live reactions to watching Ghost Stories, the horrible anime that inspired it’s English dubbers to tear it a new one. And we’re reaping all the benefits. So listen in, watch alone and get ready for a bunch of potty humor, literally. https://archive.org/download/BBB38.5GhostStoriesEps2/Baka%20Baka%20Baka%20-%20Minisode%2038.5%20-%20Ghost%20Stories%20Eps%202.mp3 Download Anime Next […]

–MATURE CONTENT WARNING– The Baka Club didn’t know what they were getting into with this one. Oh sure the idea of an old man cyborg super hero sounds cool. But what happens when some of the most inane graphic violence is thrown in the mix. The Baka’s now have to figure out, not only if […]

A wise man once said that there are two things that can’t be avoided in life. Death and idiots talking about death. Or something. We’re an anime podcast not a history class. The Baka Club is somberly facing the end of all things . . . in animes. First they discuss their favorite representation of […]

Oh boy. Where do we even start with this one? The Baka Club is dipping their toe into ecchi humor. This mean we’re watching an anime that uses all things sex as a punchline. Despite that, it’s mostly harmless but consider this your warning. Will the jokes give us the immature giggles? Will our noses […]

We’re fresh off of watching one of our favorite anime’s to ever feature on this podcast and none of us could contain our excitement enough to not watch the sequel movie. Completely by chance, every member watched Puella Magi Madoka Magika: Rebellion. But the fuzzy (and downright depressing) feelings we felt for the anime have […]
