Circumstances and emotions have nothing to do with your faith. Faith does not make God do what you want him to; faith helps you take ahold of what God has already promised you. Faith is not expressed by mere words, but by actions.

So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. -Romans 6:11

Sometimes when things don't seem fair and the world is falling apart and nothing makes sense; God is still busy at work on your behalf. Circumstances are uncontrollable but God is in control. People are unchangeable but God rewards patience. Problems are unexplainable but God is still working things out. Be patient and trust in God.

If we believe and follow Jesus Christ, overwhelming victory is ours through Him. To be victorious, we need to know our strengths and our enemy's weaknesses. We do this through prayer and diligent study of God's Word. And if we prepare ourselves and put on the full armor or God offered to us through our salvation in Christ, indeed, overwhelming victory is ours!
