If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me when I first started, “What is your NICHE?”, I could happily retire today.

It is the hot topic that everyone talks about but when we get down to the nitty gritty finding a formula to make it all work is not so easy.

For me it has taken years to really find my ideal client. And unless your know who your ideal client is, Its extremely hard to find your niche market.

So, I wanted to give you my easy steps to help you navigate through and maybe get that little bit closer to the your infamous ‘Niche market’.

When thinking of your ideal client and your niche, think about this- you are selling a solution to their problems. You are solving something for them that they cannot (or do not want to) solve themselves.

There are a few main things you need to ask yourself-

1) What two main skills do you have, that you can assist your clients with?

E.g you are amazing at organising people or helping motivate them to reach their goals

2) Who do you feel you can assist the most? What problem will you solve for them?

E.g Clients who are super busy and don’t have time to organise or need some extra support to get them motivated.

3) When you think about these clients, what do they look like to you?

E.g Are you envisioning women in their 30-40’s who are trying to start their own business?

Really its about finding a skill that you have that your clients need and then really creating a product or service to help fill that gap in the market.

The more specific the better.

The more unique the better.

You don’t want to be the same as everyone else because then you are playing in a flooded market instead of standing out from the crowd.

With all of these extra tips, hopefully you are now armed with the information that you need to narrow you market down.

This week I’m so excited to be joined by my beautiful friend Rachel Dickey from Love Your Life Coach.

With our ever changing world of technology, it can be a little tricky to keep up with the latest and greatest in the social media world.

Facebook Rooms

Great as a private forum for your clients to connect and communicate with you. Particularly great if you are running courses or a mastermind and want to be able to have intimate chat access to your clients.

Facebook LIVE

Some new features in the works for Facebook LIVE but one of the latest feature is the ability to add people into your LIVE. This is a great feature if you wanted to alert clients on to your special broadcast.

Also, once you get confident and a little coordinated, test out the filters option. This lets you play with colour and really make it a bit of fun for your audience.

Videos on Facebook

Video is still a powerful tool in our Facebook feed and can really help us get extra reach and warm up out audience. 

They are also becoming known as the best source when creating Facebook ads. People love interactive features and that is why video seems to capture us more.

Remember also that some clients prefer to listen and some prefer to listen. So if you are using the video, try and ensure you also add captions on there for your clients convenience.

Make your pictures interactive

Use apps like Bitmoji or Lumyer to make your images and videos stand out from everyone else’s:)

Facebook Ad Tips

Make sure you are specific with your ads

Ensure you test out your audience

Use your email marketing platforms and the lists to help you target your already warm audience

Do multiple tests at smaller budgets to ensure your have targeting the right clients for your promotion.

Set yourself a budget and stick to it
