Hello and welcome to the latest instalment of the white isle mixes. This mix is a slower beat than usual, ticking along a 113-114 bpm, despite some sounded faster, which is just down to the track arrangements. Some fresh and quite a few you'll likely know. I hope you enjoy my friends. Peace and love - Chewee 🕊️🫶.

For this show, I wanted to pay tribute to Ace Frehley and Matt Tolfrey, who both passed away just days before recording.

Started off with a New York Groove (naturally!), wove my way through funky breaks and jackin house, dove down into a bit of deep and minimal tech, then brought it all together for a chugging finish.

RIP, Ace and Matt <3

Hope you enjoy the ride as much as I enjoyed driving this one.

This one is straight from my heart. Every groove here is selected for maximum joy and with conscious intent. It's a love letter to the music and the moments that shaped me. I could go on about the intrinsics and the arrangements and the journey but all I really hope is that you feel the love in this mix. Because as Burt Bacharach said, 'What the world needs now is love, sweet love. It's the only thing that there's just too little of.'

Blue skies,

phr0ggi.
