The Story Behind "Enjoy The Ride" 🎧✨

Ever have those days where daily stress leaves your head completely full and finding inspiration feels impossible? That’s the exact moment Enjoy The Ride was born.

I stopped trying to force the "perfect" set, closed my eyes, and let the music take over. What started as an escape turned into an 60-minute journey of rolling Tech House grooves, built to clear your mind and lift the weight off your shoulders—culminating in the pure emotional lightness of Innerbloom.

This set is for anyone who needs to take a deep breath after a long day, clear their mind, and feel what true energy feels like again. Lean back, turn off the outside world—and enjoy the ride. 🚀💙

DJESS.

About halfway through piling a bunch of tracks into my crate for today I realized I wanted to focus on tracks with a vocal - sung, or spoken. From that point on I only selected ones of that type. In the actual set, a couple snuck in that don't have vocals, but hey - the set holds up pretty well anyway. The name came from thinking about my wife: We're approaching a wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks, so this is advance-affection. Enjoy! ❤️🍷🌴👍🏻☀️🏝️🥂.

This mix is all about movement;starting with deep, atmospheric grooves before gradually opening into soulful vocals, timeless house rhythms, and uplifting energy. It was inspired by the feeling of watching the sun disappear below the horizon and letting the music carry you from a relaxed state into a full dancefloor experience.

For this edition of SunSET Social, I wanted to blend artists who have shaped my sound with some of today's most exciting producers. From the cosmic textures of Sascha Dive, The Timewriter, and Boo Williams to the groove of Soul Minority, Purple Disco Machine, and DJ Generous, every record was selected to tell a story. The closing stretch lifts the energy with emotional vocals and melodic house before bringing everything home with a deeper, hypnotic finish.

Whether you're listening on a beach, driving with the windows down, or getting ready for a night out, I hope this set becomes part of your soundtrack.

Almost all tracks here have been edited in some way — either I changed the key or added some elements. What’s interesting is that most of them come from the minimal/techy side, but with a few edits they become much more melodic and emotional. Hope you love it 🐼.
