Most of us enjoy starting things... books, projects, various endeavors.  Starting can be a lot of fun.  It's the continuing and finishing part that's difficult.  The Bible is filled with stories about characters who struggled in similar ways.  Join us as we consider how some of the Bible greats fared.  You may be surprised who started/finished well and who didn't.  Are you aiming your life at finishing well?

Who can you pour out your heart to?  I mean, really pour it all out?  The psalmist here, details his distress as he cries out to the LORD.  But as he does, he realizes his God, though majestic, is touched by his trials.  This is why he can hope.  Come be encouraged to pour out your heart to God and to discover his concern for you. 

For many of us, all our lives we've heard God is great and God is good.  In this psalm, we're given a portrait, first, of the majesty of God, and, second, of the mercy of God.  Come tremble at the greatness of God.  And then be comforted by his legacy of mercy to his people. 

Over the millennia, believers have found comfort and security in the LORD.  In this psalm, we eavesdrop on the musings of the psalmist who recounts the security the LORD offers his people.  What is the trouble in your life today?  Come be encouraged to trust in God.
