Sci-fi meets comedy with this Rick Remender creator owned run.  Fear Agent is a 32 issue Image Comics series following Agent Huston, a 'Fear Agent' tasked to protect the Galaxy from extraterrestrial threats. He's a hard drinking space ranger and a survivor from a ravaged Earth who stumbles from one adventure to the next. If you want to see a wild ride, artist Tony Moore illustrates this imaginative run with time travel, engaging characters and many entertaining twists. 

With so many groundbreaking runs, we are focusing on two of the biggest stories that forever changed the characters arc.  Batman Year One, written and drawn by Frank Miller in 1988 shows the beginning of Bruce Waynes war on crime.  This is still the definitive origin story of the caped crusader.  Kravens Last Hunt shows the power of Spiderman's villians and pushes our hero to the edge.  Written by J.M. DeMatteis and penciled by Mike Zeck in 1987, this one will still shock you with its dark undertones.
