Then we have the head of Eastshade Studios on, Danny, to talk about his games Leaving Lyndow and Eastshade.

    Intro

Riot Games purchase an indie deveoper, this spurs on a few personal issues for both PFC Calico and Bamm.
No, You Shut Up Inc are closing their doors and Bamm thinks this is a travesty.
Calico and Bamm both belive that the main stream game producers and developers have run out of idea;. this goes way, way off topic so hold on tight and weather the storm guys. It will be over soon.

  • Rated-R – When The Moon Hits Your Eye (051)

First episode of 2017 and we have a special guest from Germany, Pascal Müller of Mooneye, here to talk about their upcoming game Lost Ember and how they blew away Kickstarter. Also this episode, we look briefly at Bamm’s Google Plus feed.

    News:

For some reason we look at the most recent stuff in Bamm’s Google Plus feed, which results in talking about Paragon, Subarus and HTC…

Special Guest: Pascal Müller, Mooney Studios

Last year, Pascal and the team at Mooneye got ready to go into their Kickstarter as they reached their preliminary goal of having 5000 subscribers to their mailing-list. They went in asking for 100.000 Euro, but ended up with 3 times that amount. Of cause, we asked them how they achieved this at a time where pledging on kickstarter is down across all areas.

  • Rated-R – Brigador Jones’ Diary (050)

Draconusx saw Rogue One, Bamm whines, and then we had a talk with Hugh Monahan about Brigador, and his experiences releasing a game to thunderous silence.

    Rogue One

Yup, Draconus saw it, was excited, and couldn’t wait to tell everyone, so he does just that on the podcast. Not-Completely-Spoiler free, we should add, but also not too spoilerific.

    Brigador

Hugh and the team at Stellar Jockeys released the game Brigador earlier in 2016, after several years of hard work and frugal living … and it basically got buried in an avalanche of other games and a media too busy with stuff.
We talk to Hugh to understand what happened, what went wrong and the future holds for this awesome little gem of a game!
Also, we just had to ask about the soundtrack (by Makeup And Vanity Set), and the book (by Bradley Buckmaster), which goes well beyond most Indie games!
Of course, the Imgur post, that started all of this : http://imgur.com/gallery/bGLAQ

  • Rated-R – Let’s Shatter Kickstarter (048)

We talk about The Game Awards 2016, and then it’s an interview with Redlock’s script-writer about their upcoming game Shattered: Tale Of The Forgotten King.

    News:

The Game Awards was on, and we tried to watch it on YouTube, but a copyright claim against some music it in meant it had been muted.
We also watched some trailers, and discuss the Mass Effect:Andromeda one, and Death Stranding.

    Interview:

With us today is Laureline from Redlock, talking about Shattered: Tale Of The Forgotten King, on Kickstarter right now.
Seeing as she’s the script writer for Shattered, we naturally try to wring out secrets about the story and elements from the Alpha footage, but we fail miserably and instead talk languages, burgers and tofu-bacon!

You can watch this episode, along with trailer footage from Shattered, over on The YouTubes, where we also have a bit of Skyrim:Special Edition and Division:Underground footage for you to enjoy!
