It’s time for the BiB FhS Residency! All week at PA’s Lounge. Please do join us as we welcome back some of our favorite Flophouse Sessioners, and some that are bound to become so.

And because we are nice, we actually mention a bunch of other shows too. So it’s a LONG episode. Enjoy it!

Featuring Muy Cansado, Apollo Sunshine, Oranjuly, Blastronauts, Boat, The Woodrow Wilsons, Creeping Weeds, Old Abram Brown, Jett and the Writers, Beasts of England, Anthems MA, Emeen Z, Donny Hue and the Colors, Ryan Lee Crosby, Mr. Sister, Scuba, Akudama, Mikey French Fries, The Painted Lights, Hats and Glasses, Viva Viva, Age Rings, The Soft Drugs, Higgins, The Toothaches, Drama Queens, Sonny Oaks, Cherryaxe, and The Silent Years.

Whew.

What happens when you make them watch the Weather Channel all morning, then give them a miniature drum kit and tiny amps? You get one of our favorite sessions ever.

Plus, we have a nice outtake of a Led Zeppelin classic done in the aforementioned Weather Channel style.

Song List:

* The Price is Right (theme)

* Benny and the Jets (by Elton John)

* Jesse Tenser

* Shake the Magic 8 Ball

* The Rooster Says Good Morning

* Don’t Walk Me Down That Road

* Go to Your Room

Stephen Came by months (and months and months) ago just before Pet Genius was formed, and gave us a peek at what he was working on. Now you get to hear it too.

And yes, he magically plays drums and guitar on a couple of songs.

We jam a solid week and a half worth of upcoming shows into this one. Featuring The Duke Spirit, Pants Yell!, The Faintest Ideas, Viking Moses, Apollo Sunshine, Viva Viva, Stephen Brodsky, Doomstar, Thao Nguyen with the Get Down Stay Down, Port O’Brien, Emeen Z, You Can Be A Wesley, The Toothaches, Wonderful Spells, Audrey Ryan, Little Trooper, and Ghosty.

You’d be forgiven for thinking The Blank Tapes were a band. Really, it’s just Matt Adams, multi-instrumentalist and incredible songwriter. When he plays live, he usually brings along friends, but the albums are all Matt. And all brilliant. He stopped by during a solo tour, but we got him to accompany himself through the magic of overdubs.

Song List:

* I Was Wrong

* Home Away from Home

* Riding the Wave

* Love Seems Strange

* We Can Still Be Friends

* It’s So Hard to Let Go

* Don’t Be Mad At Me

* Down in the Waiting Room

* Ever Again (Won’t Let This Happen)

* The Golden Winter

* Why Must I Fall in Love

We’re back from our longest-ever break. Nice to be back. We’ve been busy. It was Andy’s birthday. Oh, and we got married. Oh yeah, and Jen got a new kidney. No, seriously.

We are so psyched, and happy as all git-out to be back in the e-air! Featuring Pretty and Nice, Deer Tick, Sodafrog, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Hello Shark, Land Mammal, Ealimart, Akudama, and Ryan Lee Crosby.
