The physical state of the city of Jerusalem was a direct result of the spiritual state of the people of God. Their disobedience had results in God's discipline. But God was going to use an ordinary man to do something extraordinary among His people.

The story of Nehemiah is the story of how God used an ordinary man to accomplish His plan to revive and restore His people – against all odds. God's man accomplishing God's will for God's people in God's way.

The Kingdom of God is in need of leaders. Are you called? Do you qualify? Leadership is a non-optional requirement for all believers, especially men.

Suffering isn't just a reality for the believer, it's a necessity. God has a plan and purpose for it that should change our view of it. For the positive.
