John Gennaro welcomes on his former coworker, Bill Hanstock, to answer questions that only Bill can, as someone who has both covered professional wrestling and has worked in sports media.
The guys talks for an hour about how wrestling fits into a world and a media environment where everyone is a character and nobody knows the whole truth, occasionally taking sidetracks to talk about appreciating performance over results, Survivor Series visiting Petco Park later this year, and a shared love of Taylor Swift's music.

Darren Smith, along with his wife Leigha, checks in from Spain and talks about attending the Champions League match between FC Barcelona and Inter Milan. They also discuss similarities between Barcelona and San Diego, make plans to visit a nude beach, and talk about the wine in Spain.
Later, John Gennaro jumps on to talk about attending yesterday's Padres win against the Giants, completing the 2-game sweep, and explains why seeing Luka Doncic and the Lakers lose their first round series made him feel just a tiny bit better about that trade. Also, is LeBron actually going to retire?

John kicks off the podcast by thanking new subscribers and talking a little bit about the NBA Playoff action from last night, including seeing the Nuggets play an almost perfect game of basketball at home against the Clippers, before throwing to Darren Smith, who is recording from his hotel balcony in Sitges, Spain. Darren talks about the long travel day, keeping tabs on Xander Bogaerts and the Padres, mercifully missing the Knicks' playoff loss and the temptation of nude beaches when you're on vacation. Finally, John caps off the episode with his thoughts on last night's Padres game and tells you why Bogaerts' big game hasn't yet made him feel comfortable about the team's future.

The Padres lost a series in Houston, and maybe Luis Arráez after a scary collision at first base, and their injuries are starting to pile up. SDFC lost a bad one in Charlotte that can partially be blamed on Adrés Reyes' terrible debut with the club. And SDSU's football team left their most die-hard fans wanting more.
But it's not all bad! The guys also discuss Fernando Tatis Jr. leading the league in WAR, their fascination with the upcoming papal conclave, and a great start to the NBA Playoffs.
