Bang Average

Sweden 1 - 0 South Korea

Belgium 3 - 0 Panama

England 2 - 1 Tunisia

With both Group G big hitters getting wins, there's plenty for Ryan and Mike to get their teeth into in today's diary entry. Is Kane really overvalued, did Belgium live up to the hype and a look forward to the second round of games.

Costa Rica 0 - 1 Serbia

Brazil 1 - 1 Switzerland

Germany 0 - 1 Mexico

With the first big upset in the bag, Mike and John talk fantasy disappointment for far and optimism for England and Belgium on Monday.

France 2 - 1 Australia

Peru 0 - 1 Denmark

Argentina 1 - 1 Iceland

Croatia 2 - 0 Nigeria

Mike and J break down France’s narrow win, Argentina’s stuttering start and Croatia cruising past Nigeria.

Egypt 0 - 1 Uruguay

Morocco 0 - 1 Iran

Portugal 3 - 3 Spain

Dear Diary, Football is brilliant. A Salah-less Egypt are unlucky to lose to a stuttering Uruguay, Iran grab a late storybook winner and Portugal v Spain put on a show. John breaks down the day including how wrong he was about hat trick hero Ronaldo.

Russia 5 - 0 Saudi Arabia

Dear Diary, Russia put 5 past Saudi, but Mike isn't impressed. Two cracking goals from a substitute and a sterling performance from Aleksadar Golovkin, but are they worth investing in long term?

Finally, the final group preview. Good job too, with only a day until the real things starts, but H is probably the most even group of them all.
