Deshis for Liberation is a Bangali-led and formed group for collective liberation. It respects different cultural, historical and economic aspects of issues and is against oppression for all marginalized peoples. It believes in creating systemic change through education and action.
‘Zaria’ (not her real name to protect her family) said Bangladeshis on the ground want things to deescalate without foreign influence or intervention, in the civil unrest other parties and groups are trying to take advantage of the situation.
We acknowledge that this was produced on stolen Aboriginal land. We express solidarity with ongoing struggles for justice for First Nations people and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
