The Nigerian entertainment scene is buzzing again — this time over two of its biggest female skit stars, Amarachi Amusi, better known as Ashmusy, and Chinonso Ukah, popularly known as Nons Miraj or Ada Jesus.

Once inseparable friends and creative partners, the duo who once gave fans major friendship goals now seem to be walking separate paths — with rumors of betrayal, relationship drama, and online shade dominating the headlines.

Veteran Nollywood actress Shaffy Bello has said she does not mock or judge women involved in transactional relationships, popularly known as “runs,” noting that many are driven into such lifestyles by harsh economic realities. 

The actress made the remarks during a recent episode of ‘The Morayo Show’ hosted by Morayo Afolabi-Brown, where she spoke about survival struggles, societal pressure and self-worth among young women.

Bello explained that while she empathises with women who engage in transactional relationships to survive, she believes they should not remain in that lifestyle permanently.

Ghana has announced it will evacuate 300 of its citizens from South Africa, following a spate of xenophobic incidents and protests against immigration across the country in recent weeks. 

Ghana's Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said on Tuesday that President John Dramani Mahama had approved the operation.

The decision comes after a series of anti-immigration protests in South Africa, as well as claims of assaults and intimidation against other African nationals across the country in recent weeks.

Nigeria and Ghana have both voiced concern over the situation.

The South African government, however, has rejected all claims of xenophobia.

In an interview with Diary of a Naija girl, Daniel Erin-Effiong said:

"The first approach to your partner messing up in a marriage should be to come from a place of 'how can I help you. You should ask how can I help you out of this problem. If they cheat on you, they are in a problem so you should ask yourself how you can help them get out of that problem and then you people can start healing. 

You should think about how you can help him out of that problem, so he can come to you so that you both can solve it together. You shouldn't think about how you are hurting because that isn't going to solve the problem, try to solve his own problem and deal with it together. 

Cheating is just an ordinary offense like lying, stealing, like talking to you anyhow. It's just a problem and you should help him".

The phrase "Surviving Frank Edoho - the king of malice" refers to an intense public conversation surrounding the high-profile separation of Nigerian TV host Frank Edoho and his second wife, Sandra Onyenucheya.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned social media influencer and self-styled relationship therapist, Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, popularly known as Blessing CEO, before the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos.

She was arraigned before Justice Deinde Dipeolu on a two-count charge bordering on obtaining N36 million by false pretence and stealing.

According to the EFCC, the alleged offences involve the sum of N36,000,000, said to have been fraudulently obtained from one Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye under the guise of leasing a six-bedroom detached duplex in Lekki, Lagos.

At the commencement of proceedings, defence counsel, P.I. Nwafor, informed the court that his client had made a partial refund of N24 million to the nominal complainant.

Frank Edoho, a famous Nigerian media personality and former host of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, has vowed never to be committed to just one woman.

Edoho had sparked debate on social media regarding infidelity and the dynamics of forgiveness in marriage.

Recalls that in June 2025, the media personality announced the end of his second marriage to Sandra Onyenucheya.

He previously got married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang in 2003, and ended the seven year marriage in 2010.

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has sparked reactions online after revealing that he and his wife, Toyosi, nearly broke up before their marriage.

Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, popularly known as Ilebaye or the "Gen-Z Baddie," is a Nigerian reality TV star and model who gained widespread fame as the winner of Big Brother Naija All Stars (Season 8) in 2023.

Ilebaye has cried out for help over alleged domestic abuse in a disturbing video shared during an Instagram Live session.

The reality star, whose full name is Ilebaye Precious Odiniya, appeared visibly distressed in the now-viral clip, with what looked like a swollen face as she repeatedly pleaded for help.

Nigerian influencer Laura Ikeji found herself at the centre of online gossip as rumours about her marriage hit the internet Recent reports alleged that Ogbonna Kanu, was involved in secret affairs with multiple women 

According to recent reports, Ogbonna allegedly told a 23‑year‑old woman who had just relocated to Nigeria that he was single. The two allegedly dated for about eight months, during which they got to know each other. 

Reports further alleged that he persuaded her to invite friends for multiple bedroom activities.
