  • Top 10 of 2019

At long last, we finally release our top 10 list in audio form. This episode, we're joined by Gentle 2K, be sure to check him out on SoundCloud

Apologies for the poor mic quality, we upgraded and didn't know what we were doing.

  • Why Didn't You Take Out The Trash?

This episode was recorded a while ago, we're working on getting our audio up sooner. Thanks for your patience.

Anyways, this episode we discuss the passing of Juice WRLD and other rappers that have passed recently. We then get into whether or not posthumous albums are just cash grabs. Finally we ended with our Spotify Wrapped for 2019.

  • Fuck Goldlink

We continue our outdated news uploads with Goldlink's ridiculousness. A couple of weeks ago, Goldlink took to Instagram to say a lot of mixed things about the late Mac Miller. Even after reading his post a few times we still struggled to figure out what he was trying to get at. Shortly after his post went viral, Anderson .Paak responded, and then Goldlink responded again. All will be delved into deeper on this episode. This episode was recorded after Black Friday weekend, which explains why it's significantly shorter than our usual episodes.

As usual, thanks for your continued support.

Also, shirts are finally available on barforbar.com/shop

  • This Popeyes is Trash

After hours of anticipation, your friends finally return from Popeyes. You run to the door to greet them and ask excitedly "did they have it?!" The friend with the bag hangs his head low. The one behind them says "nah fam, they ran out." In a moment of denial, you begin to laugh hysterically, exclaiming "there's no way they sold out, y'all must be joking!" You then realize someone's missing and ask the others where they are. It turns out that while trying to get the last chicken sandwiches, your friend was shot and killed. All over a damn sandwich. That's crazy. Anyways, this episode has nothing to do with Popeyes. Instead we discussed the EarthGang concert that Bajwa and Ya Boi went to, featuring Guapdad 4000 and Benji. Then Bajwa and Flippy documented their experience at this year's Camp Flog Gnaw where the great Drake was boo'd. As usual, we appreciate you all and thank you for listening.

Are we back to a consistent release cycle? Probably not, but we're back nonetheless. This week (which was really a month ago) we discuss super groups and posse cuts because they're starting to become less common. We also listened to Frank Ocean's DHL track, which had just dropped at the time of recording.

Hey, a new episode of my least favorite podcast? Alright! It's been so long since the last episode, I wonder what took so long. Oh, it's a drunk episode. Everything suddenly makes sense.

Sorry it took us so long to get this episode up, it's been busy plus drunk episodes are inherently harder to edit because no one stays on topic or say something they shouldn't have.

Anyways, this week we did some reactions to the BET Cyphers, with the video reactions available on YouTube. We promise to have the next episode up in a more timely fashion.

  • He Looks Evil

We're back with season two! And what better way to kick off season two than to talk about a super controversial topic that we sat on for 36 episodes?

We discuss whether or not we should keep rappers and their personal lives separate. This includes artists such as Kanye, Ameer Vann, and R. Kelly. So why don't you join us on this shorter episode and let us know how you feel about this topic.

  • 36: Fuck Lord Jamar

We continue our "Fuck _____" series with Lord Jamar. It should go without saying that we don't like him. If you wanna know why we don't like him, it's mostly because he said "Female MCs aren't real hip hop", a statement that is entirely wrong. With that said, that's not all we talk about. We also talk about a show we attended that featured performances from Locksmith, Sa-Roc, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon.

  • 35: Is This Halal?

We're back! This time we talk about our Top 5 favorite rappers. Note, we said favorite and not best, so don't get mad at us for not including your favorite rapper. That shouldn't stop you from letting us know what your favorite rappers are though! Send us a message on any of our socials or email us at [email protected]!

  • 34: Don't Cut That Out

This episode was recorded weeks ago, when Jay Z and Meek Mill had recently partnered up, and Port of Miami 2 had just dropped. So that's what we talked about. However, most of y'all are aware that we never stay on topic (at least in the audio episodes) so be prepared for moments of confusion and a reintroduction to Bar for Bar after dark.
