This episode of the pod features Captain Lisa Johansson, who served in the Air Force as a weather officer. We get into her experiences leading up to and during her career, her time in Officer Training School, what basic training was like, as well as her personal feelings and vibes around being a lady in the Air Force.

Lisa also opens up about parenting (Lisa is Mom to two young beautiful kids), and the experience of conceiving via In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).

This episode of Barbarian Noetics features my good friend and fellow fighter-of-the-good-fight Pete Koeneman, who joins us all the way from Maui, Hawaii. We talk about conquering hardship and addiction, techniques to overcome those inevitable tough life obstacles, and nontheoretical ways of effectively building a better tomorrow. Pete opens up about how it feels to be a new Dad and to raise a child in today's world, and how he and his radiant wife Melissa (also a good homie) balance the practicalities of parenting with teaching a child the skills and mindset necessary to thrive in such a rapidly changing world.

We also discuss the medicinal tree Kratom and its many health and wellness benefits. How apropos that for the 13th episode of Barbarian Noetics, we welcome such a brilliant emanation of the Divine Feminine to the podcast, the radiant Cora Jenkins. Cora is a curator of folk tales, cultivator of insights, weaver of words and keen examiner of the human psyche. I always love a good Jungian yarn, and Cora doesn't disappoint in this humongous episode of gloriousness. We break a new Barbarian Noetics record for length of temporal threadings, and the time flew right by. Cora and I met on the Big Island of Hawaii, and we talk about living in the jungle in the middle of the sea. We also touch on Cora's experience being in the Puna district of said Big Island just days before the lava from the ever-active Mount Kilauea, home of the volcano Goddess Pele, began flowing through the district. The very lifeblood of Mother Earth! I also delve into memory lane and recount the time I smoked 5-MeO-DMT from the glands of the Sonoran Desert Toad in an abandoned mining town with an off-grid survivalist named Sun Dog. This discussion was a real joy and I am excited to share it with you all, my beloved listeners. Enjoy! Wassup beautiful world!! It's nearly February and YOU are listening to the podcast dedicated to the human spirit. This episode of Barbarian Noetics is a colorful solo patchwork quilt of notions, theories, ideas and quantum quarks. I talk about corporatization, how corporations and marketing firms do not own the phenomena of renewal and rebirth, Wim Hof and the Wim Hof breathing method, quantum physics and how everything- all life and all phenomena, is at its essence basically tiny lil squiggles of impossible vibratory energy bouncing in, through and around everything else... whoa. Other topics include how Tulsi Gabbard is much cooler than Mike Pence (I mean, Darth Maul is also cooler than Mike Pence, but whatevs...), animal and plant consciousness, and four courageous women who have been charged with federal crimes for putting out food and water in the Arizona desert in a humanitarian effort to prevent migrant deaths. We need to support these women, and defend the volunteer organization they are affiliated with: No More Deaths/No Mas Muertes. Migration is a human right and nobody deserves to die, especially for not having the correct paperwork. Children and teens die in the desert all the time. When I volunteered for No More Deaths in 2008, we found a 13 year old El Salvadoran girl frozen to death, alone in a gully.
