The style of Gaudi´s designs is known as Modernism and it is characterized by the use of ceramics, wrought iron, pottery, wood and stain glass windows....
Gaudí was a fasionable architech. He received commisions from rich people, in Barcelona Gaudi design 9 houses in aditon the other works as: lampost, furniture, he desigh a coffe shop and other works.
His most important project was: La Sagrada Familia.
This is a church and it is where he invested all his money and his efforts, still today is under construction.
Gaudí was born in 1852 and died, run over by a tram in 1926.
he was hit by a tram way around 5 pm on June 10th , it was 1926 when he was going to hear mass at his favorite church: The Church of San Felipe Neri.
He was a strong catholic person He never married, he haven´t children. He dedicated his life to God and architecture.
Today we will do a Gaudi tour to discover 4 of his most important works: La Sagrada Familia, La Casa Milà, La Casa Batlló and Parque Güell.
These 4 works are classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
