December 19, 2025 Ep3933_BardsFM - Our Sacred Honor with Rochelle Porto
Today we look at the period leading up to the First Continental Congress beginning with a look at Loyalists versus Patriots. The period of 1760-1774 is a critical time frame for the Colonies. This period is marked by the Stamp Act and the Townsand Act that provokes increased hatred toward the Crown and increased boycotts of British goods. This leads us to the Boston Massacre as British Troops are ordered to use deadly force to bring the Colonies back into obedience with the Crown. These actions fail, furthering the divide between Loyalists and Patriots. From this arises the First Continental Congress.

The letter of the law kills; the word becomes a weapon to shame rather than heal and restore. The indwelling of Christ within us builds a spirt of forgiveness and love. Love is the mightiest of swords. Seek the Way of Christ. There is no pew when following his path.

Brian Gerrish began as an anti-submarine expert in the Royal Navy, and witnessed the diminishing of the military with the mainstreaming of the LGBT movement into the ranks. After leaving the Navy he started the UK Column as a print paper focusing on corruption. As time has passed and the print edition has become a digital newspaper, he has increasingly looked at the institutionalization of child sex trafficking through government agencies, the coverage of rape gangs and the manipulation of truth to hide the Governments involvement in the destruction of children and families.
