We are officially talking about this very messed-up movie. They got the rated R approval and they used it, that's for sure.

We're officially at the end of our discussion for 1984! Can you believe it?

This episode deals a lot with dissociation and torture, so please be aware of that going in. This is kind of a rough chapter and we'll be there to talk you through it the whole time. Overall, I didn't super love this book and I am a bit disappointed by the ending. We'll talk about it when we get there.

Today, we're going all-in on roasting Winston and George Orwell's writing. So, get ready for that. While it's very fun, I think that it's very much deserved. We honestly have some problems with Orwell's writing of women and how messed up Winston is as a person.

Another round of just straight-up dragging on George Orwell for his writing of female characters for like ten minutes straight. I think you all will like it though, it's a fun time. Also, Winston is just such a trash bag, I do not get it. 1984 as a whole, has a lot of trigger warnings, so please listen out for those throughout these episodes, or if you need to skip this book for now. There will always be another one you can listen to in a few weeks.

Is a lot happening every time we read 1984? Yes, yes there is. Are we enjoying this book? I am not sure yet. To be honest, this book plays with a lot of sensitive topics and I am very concerned with George Orwell's overall wellbeing at this point. Like, Winston is kinda a trash dude.

The final conclusion of our Little Women journey! The only person that liked the book in this group is Jessica, but that may just be a sentimental attachment. Who knows. Also, you'll definitely get to hear some complaining about Beth's straight-up casual death and Amy not being present for it.
