Two Time Author, Consultant, Speaker, Life Coach and Martial Artist, Steve Gavatorta stopped by the studios today to discuss his life in sales, behavioral and values analysis and how important yet overlooked emotional intelligence has become in society and business. I see so many applications in this area, especially family law where we need to communicate effectively in extremely emotional situations. I'm definitely gonna start bringing him to mediations with me.

BAMF Dave Decker came back for round 2 on the show to tell war stories about his trip to Portland last weekend to shoot the protests! He came bearing gifts too! Local Skateboarding Phenom and Instagram Sensation, Keenan "Keezo" Lewis stopped by the studio today to talk about the early days picking it up from his older brother Will, to today skating for Skatepark of Tampa and being sponsored by Chocolate Skateboards, Adidas, Spitfire Wheels, Thunder, HUF, etc. Legend has it his understated confidence and resolve has him crushing competitions, helping the SPoT team pickup first place in this years Clash of the Crews. Chuck Waygood is a STUD...No 2 ways about it! Born in "Sleepy Hollow" (not kidding) he made his way up and down the east coast with dreams of competitive skiing finishing his career at a University of Colorado before making it back to Florida and rising to the top of the Tech Recruiting world. Another one of my amazing cousins, we talk about the highest highs and lowest lows including the loss of both of our fathers. Chucky is a solid dude and one of my all time favorites.

On today's show we have ANONYMOUS a Bay Area school teacher who asked to come it to discuss" The Top 12 Things (most) Parents Aren’t Talking/Thinking About When They Discuss Us Going Back to School Next Month"!!! You're gonna want to hear this one💪🏻

🔲The mold in our school buildings (because the air is turned off all 3 day weekends and at least a week during the summer and every weekend and break during the school year, in hot and humid FL)that gives us (teachers, staff, and students) upper respiratory infections the start of every school year, making our lungs more susceptible to the COVID virus.
🔲the guilt teachers will feel if a student is hospitalized or dies because they accidentally gave the virus to them
🔲the guilt students and their parents will feel if a teacher or her loved one gets it from a student and dies
🔲the backlash from parents WHEN a teacher gets it and exposes students to it.
🔲10 sick/personal days is not enough time to even quarantine and if you used your unpaid FMLA you can’t use it again.
🔲Some teachers/staff might be reluctant to take the time off even if they are exposed because they can’t afford to.
🔲The school system cannot afford to do this in a safe way (automatic soap dispensers, doors, paper towel dispensers etc. Not to mention the cleaning supplies. Teachers already have to pay for even the basics supplies out of their own pay.
🔲The negligent parents who won’t sign their kids up for virtual even if they are high risk.
🔲Teachers who are high risk or have high-risk family members losing their position if they have to do FLVS or take a year off until we have a vaccine.
🔲Middle and high school teachers will be directly exposed to 160 students a day and be in schools where thousands of students and staff are touching, sneezing, coughing, and breathing all over everything every day.
🔲 We already have trouble getting substitutes and we will surely need even more substitutes this year. What will we do when no one wants to risk their lives for the laughable amount of money we pay them? (p.s. most subs are retired school teachers so they are high risk)
🔲The fact that just because we all desperately want things to go back to normal and realize school is a vital part of that, doesn’t change the fact that we shouldn’t be risking people’s lives. Your conspiracy theories and feelings do NOT trump science and medicine.
