Got the opportunity to have an after hours hang with Sun Signs and Florida Ave. Brewing Co.'s Jeffrey A. Dominguez.  We chatted about what behind us, beneath us, and both literal and metaphorical deltas.  He's a deep dude and talented dude, but always with a smile on his face.  We coulda probably talked a lot more about his music and brew, but he promised not to be a stranger.  

Magananimous Brewing FOR THE WIN!  Setting aside these guys look like Game of Thrones extras, love metal and wrestling...they also happen to have started one of the raddest brew labels in the Tampa Bay Area.  Michael Lukacina and Charlie Meers are studs plain and simple and despite an insane start up, have succeeded in creating and offering one of the coolest experiences around.  Also stop by mornings to check out Magnanimous Coffee.  These guys are destined for big things!  Check out Magnanimous Brewing at 1420 N. Clay Parkinson from New World Brewery was nice enough to pop by the studio today for a short and sweet chat about the history of New World, the move to their new location, opening and putting on live music in the face of Covid, the Safe & Sound initiative, the local brew scene etc.  Apologies to Clay as I literally had just stepped out of a crazy deposition seconds before we started the interview and so I was a little off my game.  Hopefully bequeathing Mike Raimondi's via Keith Ulrey's via my Rage Against the Machine mural to him smoothed things over.  We are lucky to have New World Brewery and it's rich history in our town.

Super excited for this one...JEWISH SPACE LASER stopped by the studios to discuss Zoom Cat Filters, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jewish SciFi History and why you can never have enough Tabbouleh at Thanksgiving. 

And we're back!  And for chrissakes maybe y'all will stop bitching about the beard...would you look at that face...looks like a bowl of oatmeal!  ANYWAY, BLADE OF SURTR's Andrew "Achilles" DiMestico came back by to play us his new single "Thrown of Ice" off his new album VIOLENT NATURE, and to talk about the other 4 albums he's putting out through his Blade of Surtr and Achilles projects.  Andrew is as talented and heartfelt as he is prolific.  A great dude putting out amazing art.  I just love him.  Stay tuned while I focus on growing out something to hide this mug.

The pride of Hawaii/Long Island, Mike Raimondi, stopped by the show today to discuss sharing roots with Tony Soprano, breakdancing, Madonna, growing up in a record store...as well as playing in The Avenue, In The Wake Of, Macramé Owls, Empire Cinema...and his current outfit, Hi Beam!  Super great dude and talented musician. 

The birthday boy, Scott Lavan Miller, stopped by today, his birthday, to discuss mistaken identity, hot rods, Alex Van Halen, Mexican food and why everything you've heard about that one time at bandcamp is true.  He keeps himself busy being a husband, father and in his cadre of amazing acts, Ghengis Flan, The End of Daisies, Swampus, Rototiller and The Holy Terror..and may even do the solo thing in 2021.  Scott is just an all around good dude and we had a great talk. 

Another BLP exclusive!  Twisted Tea stopped by the studios today to discuss his recent notoriety, he and Snapple's plan to educate maskless racists everywhere "by any means necessary" and why he thinks Coke Zero gets a bad rap.  This is gonna be good!

St. Pete musician and host of the bay areas premier streaming music talk show "The Sunday Sesh", Ken Apperson stopped by today and we had a blast.  Ken is not only an amazing musician who hosts a killer show featuring local talent, but he's also a believer in our scene.  This one goes long but we had so much to talk about.  Check out his show and music in the link below.
