Russ & Pete welcomed Craig Clayton to the pod to tell us about his beloved Barnet FC’s plans to return to the local borough from relative exile in Edgware. Craig is part of the campaign group hoping to raise awareness and support for their bid to return home, with a site very close to their cherished ancestral home (now a school!) at Underhill being the location identified.

As well as telling us his Bees backstory and about how well things are going on the pitch, there’s wistful reminiscences about Underhill (the original), Pete’s account of his own many visits, having been brought up in the vicinity and of the major names that have graced the hallowed turf, such as Tony Cotten and Edgar Davids, yes….THE Edgar Davids.

Then in part two, your regular undynamic duo looked back again to the highly creditable draw at City, stretching the unbeaten run to 7, reflected on the rest of the weekend’s main talking points and examined how the EFL promotion and relegation battles are shaping up.
