In the fifth chapter of Isaiah, God delivers a State of the Union address to the nation of Israel and hands down a six count indictment against them. In our examination of this passage we find a frightening parallel to our own Nation today and discover that the holiness of God does not allow the sins of a nation to go unchecked.

*Overthrows are often a prerequiste to needed breakthroughs *Overthrows can totally disrupt and breakup the norm, status quo, and system *Overthrows aren’t always comfortable and received by all affected by them *An overthrow may be needed to maintain the work of a breakthrough *Though we pray for and declare breakthroughs are we willing to undergo the needed overthrow to obtain it *We often describe an overthrow as “stepping out of our comfort zone” *Understanding that a breakthrough is not the substance, but a means to obtaining the substance

*The kingdom touches every aspect of our lives every day all the time *Discerning the difference between the plan of God for your life and the will of God *The power and glory of God is directly tied to the Kingdom *All of the cosmic warfare in the seen and unseen world is related to the Kingdom *If the Kingdom is that important to our enemy it ought to be that important to us *What the Word of God is often referring to with regard to darkness *The wonder and power of Jesus delivering us from darkness and bringing us into the kingdom

*Worship is not to be limited to a certain time or place *Worship encompasses our every moment of every day *How we live testifies to all how highly we esteem God and His Word *Why there really isn’t a “secular” aspect of the Christian’s life *The three calls for a decision in Rom.12:1 *Avoid falling into the “Outer Court” mentality found in Mat.21 *The power in remembering God’s many mercies shown to us *What it really means to “take up your cross daily”
