We wrap up 2021 with Barney Miller.

 

You may have seen news reports and some footage of Barney charging solid Yallingup in December with the help of some friends, including Taj Burrow. It's not an easy wave at size and certainly not as a quadrilplegic surfer. 

Barney joins us to tell his story and also give us his highlights and lowlights for 2021. Barney is an inspirational man and keeps smashing it with the help of his incredible Wife Kada and their 2 pups. More than that though, Barney is just a bloody good bloke.

Beau Cram AKA SOC, Son of Dick and all round Flegend joins us in the #shedquarters for a chat and as usual we get on the Cheeky beers!

Beau has been travelling around West Oz in his van, frothing on the waves, vibing with the locals and even helping out around the cyclone hit areas in our north.

From winning the skull off in the final of the Yallingup Single Fin to getting flogged at Deadmans, Beau is living his best life and tells us all about it.

It's another relaxed episode on BSP, just the way we like it and Beau Cram fits in like he has done all up and down the coast of this great state.

Matt "Bromdog" Bromley joins Namu and Tbone this week to discuss his new film Over the Edge.

Bromdog is a calm, measured person on land, but throw a crazy 20 ft double up at him and he turns into a completely bonkers MADMAN!

Over the Edge is a fascinating insight into the mind of a big wave surfer and well worth the price to watch - from memeory it is under 10  bucks!

Its a Margaret River theme on today's episode!

Namu talks Red Bull Foam Wreckers, a new one day event coming to the Margies Riverdog in December with Chris "Binnsy" Binns. It is all about fun in the sun with an emphasis on good times!

Binnsy also gives us the skinny on the "Facing Monsters" book launch held at Shelter. Vasse photog Andrew Semark did the stills for Kerby Brown's groundbreaking doco and the accompanying book is nothing short of breathtaking. The launch was in support of Lifeline with much needed funds raised to support the amazing work they do in the mental health space.

Elsewhere, Adzy jumps between commentary obligations and podcast duties at the 39th Margaret River Classic. He manages to wrangle interviews with Up and comers Mia McCarthy, Remy and Otis North, as well as Margies Legends Andrew Sheridan, Jed Mattinson and Hamish Gibson.
