Legendary writer and comedian Barry Cryer has been making Britain laugh for over sixty years beginning his career as a comic at the infamous Windmill Theatre before penning scripts for Danny La Rue and Ronnie Corbett at the celebrated nightclub Winston’s. Whilst here, Barry met an important figure in the development of his career:David Frost who recruited him for The Frost Report alongside Corbett and Barker. Throughout the seventies, Barry wrote for the anarchic Kenny Everett on his various series for the BBC and ITV and then in 1972 he became a regular on the radio 4 panel show I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, I met up with the comedy legend to talk comedy, icons and his thoughts on an unparalleled career in entertainment.
