Writer, broadcaster and documentary maker Nikki Fox began her career as a reporter for BBC Radio Cambridgeshire before winning a position on the Channel Four training scheme which resulted in her working as a researcher on Gok Wan’s landmark series How To Look Good Naked. Born with Muscular Dystrophy, Nikki has used a wheelchair for the majority of her adult life. In 2014 she became the BBC’s disability correspondent, covering stories of diversity and equality. Just a year later, Fox won a New York Festival award for her Radio 5Live documentary Learning To Walk Again before joining the team on the consumer affairs programme Watchdog. I caught up with the award winning broadcaster to talk; legs, legends and her hopes for the future. Ladies and gentlemen Nikki Fox
