Barton Gold (ASX: BGD) managing director Alex Scanlon joins Small Caps to discuss the company’s exploration plans at the historic Tunkillia gold project in South Australia.

The explorer has just completed a diamond drilling program targeting depth extensions at the 223 deposit and exploration of the newly discovered Area 51.

Assay results are expected within the next three months, which will be used for an updated mineral resource at the 223 deposit, scheduled for release in April.

The results are expected to provide insight into the regional structural model and strengthen future resource modelling at the SA project.
