This week (June 19) our Celebration Spotlight is on a classic cereal we all love, Batman Returns which turns 25 and the first and better X-Files movie. Moving on to the News Nuggets for the week, Tom Holland confirms more Spider-Man movies, Danny Elfman to compose the score for Justice League, Dark Phoenix updates, a new Big Trouble in Little China comic series, a new Kevin Smith horror movie and confirmation that Adam West did finish recording his for the sequel to Return of the Caped Crusaders. We also watched the trailers for the new Spider-Man video game, the Flatliners reboot sequel thing and Daddy's Home 2. During WDWDWG Beard talks about still not playing Injustice 2, Brandon reviews the TV series American Gods (Spoiler Free)and we give a little update on Basement Condition 2.0 before ending the show with Listener Questions.

This is a big week for celebrations as we celebrate the release of 2 films that we watched a LOT growing up, Can't Hardly Wait and Predator! As well as the first game in the Metal Gear franchise. During our News Nuggets segment we discuss Sony's upcoming 'clean' movie releases, TV series that have or are starting filming soon, characters appearing in season 3 of DC's Legends of Tomorrow and we get excited for Todd Mcfarlanes new line of Stranger Things action figures. Since E3 is going on at about this time, we talk about the trailers we've seen so far/get us most excited. Then we talk about the new Black Panther trailer and Brandon learns a thing or two about the character. Moving on we go over our question of the week and read your answers, talk about some video games we plan on playing very soon and finish it all of once again with Listener Questions. On this episode we celebrate the release of Harry and the Hendersons, The Truman Show and The Hangover during our Celebrations segment. After that we get into our News Nuggets which includes the return of 90's beloved show Animaniacs, Rick Moranis also returns, Sin City gets the reboot treatment in the form of a TV series, the Top Gun sequel gets a title and Shane Black's Predator as well as Stranger Things season 2 wraps filming. Next we mix things up a bit and do our Question of the Week segment first before moving onto WDWDWG where Brandon reviews some Predator comics as well as Black Ops III and both Brandon and Beard review DC's The Judas Contract. We then finish it all off by answering some questions sent to us from our wicked awesome listeners.

This week we start things off by celebrating the release of Sister Act, Almost Heroes and Drag me to Hell. We also wish a happy birthday to one of the greatest film score composers, Danny Elfman.

Moving on to our News Nuggets, we talk about the Resident Evil, Charlies Angels and Top Gun reboots, Justice League Dark losing it's director while the Black Cat/Silver Sable movie find it's director and gets an official title and Silicon Valley is saying goodbye to T.J Miller. Seth MacFarlane has a new show coming out called The Orville and we watched the new trailer for that and talk about it before moving on to our Flash Season 3 Finale review. Brandon also kind of reviews Call of Duty's new DLC 'Zombie Chronicles'.

This week, like every week, we kick things off with our Celebrations segment then get into talking about the upcoming Krypton show, Zack Snyder steeping down from Justice League, the new Mace Windu comic, George Romero's return to the zombie genre and our thoughts on Tom Hardy being cast as Venom in the upcoming 2018 movie... Venom. Then we watch some trailers mainly just for something to complain about but there was one that did get us excited and that was more of a teaser trailer for Netflix's new prequel series The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. We also watcher the final Mummy trailer as well as the first trailer for the Emoji movie... that's right... the Emoji movie...

After all that we review the recent episodes of Arrow ("Missing") and The Flash ("Infantino Street") and get excited for the season finales. Then we wrap things up with Question of the Week and Listener Questions and it's a grand ol' time so enjoy it and stay mint.
