Are your passwords actually keeping you safe? In this episode, Tom and Jeff dig into the recent LastPass breaches, explain why it's time to move on from LastPass, and walk through the password tools and habits that will actually protect you — no tech degree required.

We break down the real differences between iCloud Keychain and 1Password, explain why passphrases beat complicated passwords every time, and cover the security fundamentals every Apple user should have in place — from Face ID and software updates to multi-factor authentication, Hide My Email, and Apple's Advanced Data Protection for iCloud.

Topics covered:

• Why LastPass got breached (twice) and what it means for your data
• iCloud Keychain vs 1Password: which one is right for you?
• Why "RadioHorseDustBowl" is a better password than "P@ssw0rd!"
• Multi-factor authentication: what it is and how to set it up
• Hide My Email and how it protects your Apple ID
• Advanced Data Protection for iCloud: what it does and whether to turn it on
• The one thing you should never do with your passwords
