Ray and I continue our walk through the book Unquestioned Answers by Jeff Myers. This week we're close to the end in chapter 10, "God is Good all the time; all the time God is good." It seems like many Christians use this phrase to minimize, or even worse - ignore, the pain we all face from time to time. Listen in as we chat about the reality of suffering in the Christian life.

As our nation searches for answers as we continue to struggle through the ramifications of what has been called our nation's original sin, is there any hope? Can we find away to bridge the great divide when it comes to race? Our guest today has a message of hope to share with us. Michael Bell is one of the pastors at New Zion Baptist Church in Beloit, WI and is on the front lines when it comes to this debate. Warning, you may not like everything Pastor Bell has to say - but we must be willing to at least listen to each other and learn from others with a different perspective and life experience.

Pastor Adam Meyer asked Bishop Michael Cole (Pastor of the Family Worship Center in Dixon, IL) to speak on the issue of racial reconciliation. The message so convicting and thought-provoking I asked if I could share it on this podcast. So here it is...

The Basic Bible Podcast seeks to take high-level theology and place it down on the bottom shelf for everyone to enjoy. That’s right – enjoy. Theology is not merely an academic pursuit but…
Each week we will discuss a different theological concept and unpack its meaning in a way that is both edifying and applicable. Joining us will be local pastors and theologians with a desire to see you grow as we discuss the truths we hold so dear. We’ll define our terms, look at the pertinent Scripture, discuss dangers to be avoided and then always end on a practical note. We’ll make it easy for you to think through and then leave you with a few resources in case you want to dive in a little deeper.
