  • 203 - Christian Entrepreneurship, Part 1

We are back! This week we welcome back my friend, Dayton Bennett. Dayton is here to kick around a topic we've been talking about doing for some time, what does it look like to be a Christian entrepreneur? If there is anyone who can intelligently talk about this, it is Dayton. Our conversation is lively, interesting and borders on sarcastic - yet we bring up some serious issues such as discerning God's Will.

  • 197 - Abuse in the Church

This week we are discussing a topic I'd rather not discuss, but certainly is an important one that needs more exposure and light. While the church ought to be a place of healing, edification and encouragement not all churches provide an environment where that can happen. More and more we see victims coming forward exposing a dark underbelly of the church that we would like to believe doesn't exist. The truth is there are toxic church environments where abuse and cover-ups abound. As Christians, we believe judgment starts with God's people in God's house. Our guest is victim advocate Michie DeBerry who tells us about his experience and what warn signs you should be looking for.
