    The Rooks were celebrating days end, probably with Jackdaws, maybe even a few Ravens we have all of them here on the patch, inc. Carrion Crow.
    The sound you hear are the Pink-footed geese passing overhead.

    I don't know where ll the geese are coming from. but, they are probably heading back to Montrose Basin.
