The day after I had sung Verdi's Messa da Requiem in the choir of the conservatoire Luca Marenzio, directed by Maestro Silvio Baracco, at Teatro Sociale, in Brescia, I took the guitar, with the sweet melodies, the rich choral harmonies, and the immense sonic power of Verdi's masterpiece.
Playing by ear the first notes of the introduction, I thought a transcription on the guitar of the first part (until the Kyrie) would have sounded good. I then tried searching online to see if somebody had thought of it yet, but I didn't find anything, so I tried realizing it myself.
