Rode the 160km route at Helsinki Gran Fondo in August, my longest single ride ever \o/ And did it on my mountain bike as my gravel was in repair 😁 At times it was a bit difficult to keep up with the group, but did manage in the end, average speed of the group being 26km/h.

This was not a competition, but a big social ride with hundreds of participants either riding in groups, like me, or just individually winging it.

While it was fun, I must say I'm not completely relaxed in these kind of group rides on the roads, due to the danger caused by impatient car drivers, who just must get past even at the expense of everyone's safety. So many near passes with oncoming drivers.
