The Bastards road trip down to Texas (by way of Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and finally Texas). We did a bunch of roadside attraction stuff on the way down, then finally got to Houston to attend a music festival we went down for, and on Saturday night of the festival, recorded this episode. There's also a video accompanying this podcast that Will recorded and edited of many of our trip shenanigans. This episode is all over the place, as I was exhausted and we hadn't recorded in a year! We had a blast though and hope you guys will too. See link below for the video:
The Bastards Go Down To Texas
The Bastards are finally together! Will flew out to Brent, and they jumped in the car and road tripped it to Texas. We went to Dealey Plaza, some cool record stores, BUC-EE'S, and the music festival we travelled for. This was a great trip and a fun episode. Listen to the end for an announcement.
Short semi-bonus episode here, as Brents internet shit the bed in the middle of Will telling his Alice Cooper concert story. Buckcherry sucks, and so does Brents internet.
Will and I didn't really have an agenda this week before recording, but the conversation turned to guns and records, and wound up being a lot of fun!
It's been a long two weeks! Brent and Will both did some travelling for out of town events, Will scored a couple of badass grails for his collection, Brent went on a record spree in preparation for Houston in April, and more!
Oooooo boy. Will is REALLY drunk, among other things, and we discuss the attempted cancellation of Rogan, records, shows, Will jumping back on the potato wagon, and bucking the trend of loser idiots trying to cancel people over words.
This is a bit of a potpourri episode as The Bastards kind of ramble about several subjects in rapid succession. Comedy shows, horror movies, Turquoise Mexican (the greatest mariachi polka fusion band ever), etc.
Will and Brent take a quick moment to give their heartfelt thoughts about the tragedy of Jan 6 2021, on this one year anniversary
How this episode started, and where it went, couldn't possibly be further apart. We discuss the loss of the most badass Bastard of us all, Will's grandma, and then move on to just what it takes to have a funeral these days. Brent wraps things up talking about his vacation and catching Covid (I'M NOT DEAD, HAHAHAH!) We've somehow made it 50 whole episodes of this shitshow!
The Bastards are drinking on a Tuesday and bringing you guys another episode of stupidity. We talk about concerts, Weird Al, comedy and Will's upcoming gigs, etc. We also ponder why we still have any listeners...
