It’s Day 163 of Bath Time!

TV & movie streaming in Australia is about to get a whole lot more interesting.

Netflix is launching soon, Stan has launched its early access and Presto has added TV shows to its lineup.

But who wins?

The consumer? Do you have a lazy $30 lying around per month to have access to virtually every TV show and movie ever?

Can the Australian market sustain three separate services? Or will they just cannibalize each other’s profits?

It’s Day 162 of Bath Time!

Today’s Movie Autopsy is American Sniper, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley Cooper.

Paul and Anthony discuss the patriotism of the film, they reference Clint’s chair incident and marvel at some very awesome action sequences.

They also take note some sever one-sided portrayal of Iraqis, a beautiful drone shot of a drone and whether the ending was a sucker punch considering it’s a true story.

Paul has just arrived back in Melbourne after 3 days at a strategic planning camp for the Student Youth Network in Healesville.

He discovered that today’s young people are just as good if not better than the young people from his time at SYN.

We’ll all be working for them in ten years.

Paul begun his media life at the Student Youth Network in Melbourne – a community radio station and media hub.

Each year, they venture to Healesville for a strategic planning camp. Paul is getting a bit old for SYN, so he decided to attend the camp one more time, and record a podcast while he was there.

He’s joined by past Bath Time guests Bec Petraitis and Dylan Leach.
