Wow, can you believe it has been 37 Episodes of the Batting Practice Podcast? We have a heavy and controversial topic this week asking whether Sorare MLB has been a success or a failure! One thing we do know is that this podcast has been successful based on our goals so thank you to every one of our listeners out there.

Getting into it, we try to take a balanced approach asking the deep questions of whether we think the game has been successful or not. To answer this, Jacob has pulled some great numbers so that we are not talking out of our behinds the whole time. We may be a bit biased as one of the leading Sorare MLB Podcasts but try our best to approach it from both sides. We are back with another episode of the Batting Practice podcast, your favorite Sorare MLB podcast. Josh joined us for half the episode as the demands of PT school are a bit much with over a dozen examinations over the next few weeks. Wish him luck on Twitter.

That did not stop us from gloating a bit too much this episode that we did not even get to our prepared content. Jacob had his biggest win ever in Adolis Garcia who had one of the biggest single day games in Sorare MLB history. The power of Sorare is when your rewards compound on each other and with that much firepower in his lineup, watch out for his first podium. Jacob and Andrew hold down the fort this week as Josh studies for his big PT exam. Word on the street is it went well and you may be able to see him for that knee or back pain thats been nagging you in 1 years time. I still cannot believe it is Episode 35 or that I am typing this away on my 27th birthday. My biggest advice to friends is to just have fun and especially on your birthday. It can be simple, do something nice for yourself like treating yourself to lunch or a cup or coffee, maybe even a Messi card?

Enough of my ramble, we have a podcast description to write. We are back for Week 2 of our Road to Glory team which we created on last week's podcast if you have not seen already. We had a decent week cracking into the top 50% of the prospect league earning us a HUGE upgrade in the closing pitcher position in Emmanuel Clase who is going right into our lineup.

Since we are starting out with this team we are covering a lot of our team management during the podcast to give you a perspective into how we set our lineups, swap cards and evaluate who we think is going to have a big gameweek. In future episodes these will be much smaller as we do not want to turn our podcast into a Road to Glory series. We are back with another episode of the Batting Practice Podcast and boy do we have a good one for you. Baseball is hitting its stride as the season shakes out flukes from the real deal. The list of players who had fantastic months is endless while the list of players with fantastic seasons is much shorter.

We are pleased to share that we received expressed written consent from Sorare to start a Road to Glory account for baseball which will allow us to combine our common knowledge and share the progress of our common team as we move up divisions. Any limited rewards we win will be immediately given away so make sure to follow us closely as we hopefully have some fun rewards to share.

During Episode 34, the boys draft their Road to Glory team, pooling our collective knowledge on players we like and those that are overrated. Listen in to hear our strategies for drafting as well as for scouting purposes as we give loads of budget player recommendations that can strengthen your baseball lineups. We will be sharing our lineup every week as well as how we did. This will allow us to have additional giveaways where we do "Beat our Score" competitions that act almost as a Batting Practice threshold.

Per usual we get into some shenanigans and have a few laughs mostly at Josh's expense this week who forgot to set his Sorare MLB lineups ahead of the early morning deadline. Don't worry, he will not do it again and especially not for weekend competitions where YOU can win cards we give away. We also give Josh some tips that should be helpful for all managers to avoid missing lineup deadlines.

Lastly, we end with some fun, or Jacob's version of fun, which involves a quiz testing our knowledge of the best players across baseball from each of the last 100 seasons. Yes, baseball is an incredibly old sport. Have some laughs as we struggle and see if we can beat the site average of 62%.

The MLB Season is fast start and surprises are found all around the league: did you see the undefeated Rays coming? That is the fun of a new season as it gives every franchise the opportunity to start fresh and have hope that maybe it is their year. That said we are barely 10% into the extended regular season which did not change the total number of games which still sits at 162. Thus if your team, Sorare or MLB, is off to a bad start, do not fret as there are many more games to be played.

That said, the boys have been scouring the data after the first few Sorare MLB Gameweeks and have answers to important questions like

1) Do I put a Starting Pitcher who is Relief eligible in that Reliever Position? Think Spencer Strider or Podcast Favorite, Chris Flexen.

2) Am I better off playing an extra hitter or pitcher in the flex position?

3) Should I play my best cards in the Pro or All Star Competitions?

While we do like to discuss serious things like you saw above, we want to make the podcast fun and engaging so we sprinkle in a few goofy segments that hopefully make you laugh. We are excited to bring back highlights and lowlights which feature 2 plays from the previous week that are exceptional and disastrous for the players and teams involved.

Bonus Segment: In case you have not seen, teams are celebrating home runs by adorning celebratory hats or using props which is just plain fun. We like fun baseball and are glad to see teams and players embracing it. That said we do have to rank teams based on these hats/props and not everyone can be a winner. MLB Opening Weekend has passed and yes it is too early to extrapolate these series to the rest of the season but it does feel very good to see your team get off to a hot start. The Phillies have started slowly while the Twins shrugged off the Minnesota chills to keep winning. As Brewer fans we have been extremely pleased with how the season started and are excited to see how the young talent within our team continues to develop.

Similarly, don't be too disapointed if Gameweek 1 did not go your way or let it get to your head if things went well. In case you forgot, MLB still has a 162 game season so there will be more gameweeks to come. Jacob and Josh dealt with some disappointing players while Andrew got a bit lucky and sneaked out two Tier 2's across Rare and Limited.

I had no idea March could feel so much like Christmas. After a very quiet offseason, Sorare MLB is dropping news and updates faster than Drake takes between albums. If you missed it, Sorare MLB announced some major updates for Season 2 including new competitions, rules changes, and more. If you want to hear more about that, listen to our last episode.

There is so much to cover and not enough time in every episode so we are breaking things up into smaller episodes so you do not miss any important details.
