Ray was a career U.S. Army officer prior to pursuing his Ph.D. in Anthropology, he reflects on his military experience and how it has shaped his research on Plains Indian Warfare during the late 19th century. Ray and Carlton find out they share a collegiate organization, we discuss the significance of Ray, and we conclude the episode with a conversation about Ray's continuing work for the Department of Defense's POW/MIA Accounting Agency.
