SPECIAL GUEST: Nanci Schiman, MSW, CAPSW is the Program Manager for the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation (www.bpkids.org). She coordinates all of the on line support programming for families raising children, teens or young adults with bipolar disorder, depression or related disorders. In addition she is responsible for the team of volunteers who answer emails for BringChange2Mind (www.bringchange2mind.org), the anti stigma campaign founded by actress Glenn Close.

Nanci has three teenage daughters, the oldest and youngest whom have bipolar disorder and were diagnosed at 9 and 10 respectively. Her personal and professional experiences have given her extensive knowledge and understanding of mood disorders, treatments, parenting strategies, resources and the challenges and barriers that can limit access to care.
